So if you have followed the news or stepped outside you may have noticed that it's been just a tad bit chilly around the US these past couple of weeks. In our neck of the woods, we aren't equipped for cold weather. We are used to 100+ degree weather in the Summer, and if it dips below 60 in the Winter, we are pretty much bundled up from head to toe expecting a blizzard.
My kids are true Southern natives. We had about 5 minutes worth of fun out in the snow on Christmas Eve and Christmas day, but it was better suited for looking at. "Aaaawww, isn't it pretty?" My kids would say from the comfort of the inside of our cozy home.
They didn't even want to stay outside long enough to make a snowman.
aaahhh... that's more like it.

I have to agree with the kids, too cold to go out there for long. But pretty to look at.
